Boyd Jones was selected to complete more than 8,000 SF of renovations and an addition for upgrades and expansion of East Butler Public Schools’ food service facilities. The project resulted in a new kitchen and commons area that also includes concessions accommodations for on-site district events.
We safely completed the project with a majority of work taking place while school was in session. The addition was built over the top of several underground utility lines that fed critical building services, which required extreme care to preserve safety and building functionality. We successfully navigated the challenge, and the completed project resulted in a larger and updated gathering space for students, staff, and members of the East Butler community.
