A key aspect of our culture is to create an environment for our employees to take risks, see opportunities in the marketplace, and then use our collective skills, abilities, and energy to follow through on them. An entrepreneurial approach is essential to the future success, growth, and viability of our company.

Continuous Improvement

Our persistent questions are, “What lessons did we learn?” and “How can we do this better?”

“In starting construction, there are a lot of important things to a school district; number one is student safety. We were able to keep the kids onsite and protect them because of the safety plans that were designed. Boyd Jones is a company that you want to work with. They’re a group that is very personable, very professional, and at the end of the day they get things done.”

“Boyd Jones was with us every step of the way. There was a lot of attention to detail in the budget; as well as how we could maximize that budget and put together something that could meet the needs of the district. Everything that’s been done has been on time and on budget. It’s work I’m proud to show people in our district. The quality and integrity of Boyd Jones shines through.”

“Boyd Jones is an exceptional company to work with. They understand the client’s needs and desires and do everything humanly possible to meet or exceed both. The most impressive trait of this company is the ownership they take of the project. They work for the client’s success as if they were the owner of the project themselves.”

Our History

At Boyd Jones, we have a long-term vision built on our respect for the history and values of our firm. Our company was founded in 1924 by W. Boyd Jones, an experienced contractor originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Jones specialized in industrial and commercial construction, building such notable projects as the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas and the Anheuser-Busch corporate office in St. Louis. He brought that experience to Omaha, Nebraska, where he founded his company and constructed buildings across Nebraska that still stand as part of the historic fabric of local communities today. W. Boyd Jones was known for his integrity and commitment to customers. He was continually looking for ways to drive value, reduce costs, and build better. That same approach still drives us today.
