Springfield Platteview Community Schools selected Boyd Jones for capital improvement projects to accommodate significant enrollment growth in the district. Because the projects were reliant upon bond financing, our role included working with the district through the pre-bond planning phase and attending meetings where we could answer questions from district patrons. Effective pre-bond support helped pass the bond issue with 68% approval.
At Westmont Elementary, a 13,000 SF addition includes new PreK classrooms, a new kitchen, gymnasium, and administration area with security upgrades to the primary entrance.
