This project involved the construction of a new 70,000 SF elementary school. The school was constructed on two levels. The interior space includes classrooms, media center and library, auditorium, gymnasium, administrative offices, restrooms, teachers’ lounge and conference rooms. A storm shelter was constructed on the lower level, and a geothermal heating system was installed for energy efficiency. One wing of the school provides program space for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands.
