When the Knoxville Community School District needed to update its facilities master plan, it looked to Boyd Jones. The projects resulting from our planning efforts provide the Knoxville community with school facilities that are better-accommodating and conducive to modern instruction while positioning the district for high-quality educational environments and outcomes for years to come.
The result is a state-of-the-art 95,000 SF middle school built on the site of the district’s existing high school. It features flexible classroom space the maximizes 21st century learning principles. Additional work resulted in a new HVAC system at the 125,000 SF high school.
