Boyd Jones has developed a strong partnership with Kaplan University, having first completed the construction of its Omaha campus. This project involved the transformation of a 44,000 SF concrete masonry unit, single-story structure into a state-of-the-art educational facility in 90 days. The new Omaha campus provides technology-enhanced classrooms, administrative offices, six computer labs, a nursing skill lab, medical assisting lab, dental lab, library, and an academic success center strategically located in the building’s core.
We then worked with Kaplan to construct new facilities on its Lincoln campus. This project more than doubled the size of its educational facilities, including renovated classroom space and computer labs, expanded its student center, increased the size of the library and bookstore, added an outdoor pavilion, and increased parking.
In 2017, a 19,000 SF renovation at the Kaplan facility in Lincoln for Community Action Partnership’s Head Start Program (prior to the Purdue University acquisition) was also completed.
