This project involved the complete renovation of the former St. Richards Church, School, and Rectory into a Community Senior Center, Children’s Emergency Shelter, Outpatient Health Care Center, and Administrative Offices to provide housing for low-income seniors and a community center with therapeutic programming for individuals of all ages. Work included window replacements, the addition of a mechanical chase and elevator, all new MEP systems, and the installation of a geothermal well field. The completed project provides eight residential units, commercial kitchen, large dining room, laundry room, shared common spaces, classrooms, art room, computer room, and a recreational gym with a refurbished stage.
