Fairbury Public Schools selected Boyd Jones as construction manager for a series of renovation and addition projects totaling 37,000 SF. The first project modernized science and special education instruction spaces to be used by all grade levels. An addition created three new science labs and storage, while renovations resulted in updated special education rooms and an additional science lab.
The next project featured an addition housing new shop areas for woodworking and ag instruction, while renovations converted an existing shop into new spaces for additional CTE classes.
At the elementary school, an addition created a new cafeteria, classroom space, and connecting corridor. Renovations upgraded the existing kitchen, preschool dining room, pantry, and lobby space.
