Creighton University selected Boyd Jones as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for a ground-mounted, 85-kW solar photovoltaic (PV) array in a university parking lot in addition to a wind energy collection array. Consisting of 100- and 300-foot-long PV panels, the system was the centerpiece of a 120-kW joint wind and solar project with the Omaha Public Power District that was partially funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
