Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate’s The Good Life Group selected Boyd Jones to renovate this 90-year-old building on the National Register of Historic Places. The project team successfully balanced construction of a functional and open office space design to accommodate many of The Good Life Group’s brokers and additional administrative staff while preserving and restoring significant historic elements throughout the interior and exterior of the building. This included repointing and replacing masonry on the building exterior; prominently featuring design elements in the commercial vernacular style typical of the neighborhood; and installing finishes that required extensive attention to detail.
