This renovation and addition revitalized the overpopulated K-12 school building in Arlington, NE. Built in 1961, the building has served the district’s students for 60+ years. Boyd Jones was selected to maximize the budget and leverage our PreK-12 building expertise.
The project consisted of a two-phase facilities improvement project. The first phase included a series of renovations across 2,500 SF of the facility; including restroom upgrades, science rooms, family and consumer sciences space, and special education spaces, corridor improvements, and window replacements. The second phase included a 9,600SF, six-classroom addition. These renovations and additions meet the needs of students, staff, and faculty while the school board continues to develop future projects to complete the vision of the growing district.
