Serving as EPC, Boyd Jones built this three turbine, 6.9 MW wind farm located in southeast Nebraska for developer Bluestem Energy Solutions. Connected directly to the local power supplier’s distribution system, the public-private partnership set the table for a nearby ethanol plant to tap into carbon-free electricity generation, thereby reducing its carbon intensity and making its ethanol more competitive in coastal markets. The wind farm was commissioned by Boyd Jones under budget and ahead of schedule.
