Our work with Omaha Public Schools spans across four district elementary schools: Catlin, Conestoga, Edison, and Masters. The project scope included energy management system updates, air handling unit replacements, and new interior and exterior lighting systems at each of the four sites totaling approximately 205,000 SF of area. At every site, excluding Masters Elementary, we replaced fan coil units and cooling towers to improve efficiency and occupant comfort within the buildings. Additional building systems work across the sites included replacing water heaters, boilers, and chillers. At Conestoga Elementary, piping replacements were completed along with a new fire alarm system.
Other capital improvements included finishing the safe areas at Edison and Masters and converting each space into two classrooms; we also created a three-classroom addition at Edison and a four-classroom addition at Masters.
