The owner of the State Farm office in Omaha’s Benson neighborhood selected Boyd Jones to renovate and fit out its office in a Maple Street storefront built in 1929. The project scope included exposing the ceiling over the lobby, shoring up structural framing, and tying in new plumbing to the structure’s existing system. Outcomes included the incorporation of historic imagery of the historic Benson district as a key design element that greets customers upon entering the office, a vintage bank vault door, and the preservation of terrazzo flooring in the lobby.
