Boyd Jones was selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build a new Child Development Center (CDC) serving the needs of Air Force families. The 53,000 SF CDC serves the daycare needs of 302 children, ranging in age from infant through preschool. Twenty-two activity rooms were constructed, each with direct access to an outdoor playground. Constructed space include administrative offices, kitchen, training and conference rooms, two multipurpose rooms, two isolated nursing rooms, a water spray play area, fully-equipped outdoor playground, and a large parking lot.
