The Titan Readiness Center in Mead, Nebraska, replaced a 60-year-old, asbestos-laden facility that housed the Nebraska National Guard armor and transport units. Boyd Jones built a new facility that met the Guard’s training, coordination, and readiness demands.

The new 44,000 SF center is a modern, durable home base that elevates soldiers’ learning, training, and preparation. Facilities, including an armory, fitness center, kitchen, library, and a full suite of training and instruction spaces, were designed to support the daily rhythm of Guard operations.

A LEED Gold certified facility, the Readiness Center uses less water and energy, offers improved air quality, and is filled with natural light. It stands as one of the most sustainable Guard facilities in the state, serving as a model for green design.

The completed space serves as a future-ready training center that strengthens mission preparedness and gives Nebraska’s soldiers a place built with their safety, growth, and success in mind.
