Oelwein Community School District envisioned transformations to create modern instructional spaces and future-ready learning environments across facilities, and partnered with Boyd Jones to realize 60,500 SF of renovations and additions.
At Wings Park Elementary, Boyd Jones completed a 12,400 SF, six-classroom addition and 38,700 SF of renovations across the entire building. The elementary school now has all-new building systems, additional classrooms, a new media center, and an updated gymnasium. Renovations at the high school totaling 9,400 SF updated the office and restrooms, created a secure entry, and replaced of all windows. An addition also created multiple science classrooms, supporting modern learning needs.
These projects empower Oelwein Community School District to serve learners from kindergarten through graduation with updated and expanded facilities.
