East Butler Public Schools needed more capacity and flexibility in its food service spaces, requiring careful planning and precise execution. 

Spanning 8,000 SF of renovations and an addition, Boyd Jones delivered a new kitchen and commons area designed to support daily student use while also accommodating concessions for on-site district events—creating a flexible space that serves both school operations and the broader community. 

Complex logistics and conditions required construction expertise to ensure project success. With construction completed while school was in session, Boyd Jones coordinated closely with the district and school staff to maintain the functionality of the kitchen. 

The addition was carefully built over multiple underground utility lines serving critical building systems, necessitating precise coordination to maintain safety and uninterrupted operations.
