DC West Community Schools

Boyd Jones has been a proud partner in DC West Community Schools’ planning efforts for over a decade. Our work together has spanned around 260,000 SF, including renovations, additions, and new construction across multiple campuses.

We simultaneously completed an 84,000 SF elementary school with district science classroom renovations. The school features a new gymnasium, kitchen, media center, and around 30 classrooms designed to accommodate the district’s continued growth. Modern, adaptive classroom spaces can be reconfigured to fit different learning models, and abundant daylight harmoniously blends the natural and built environments.

Our latest work for the district is a major addition and renovation at the middle school that resulted in 72,000 SF of state-of-the-art facilities for classroom instruction, performing arts, STEM, alternative education, softball spectator accommodations, weight room, locker rooms, wrestling, cardiovascular fitness, and multi-purpose space.
