St. John Paul II Newman Center

St. John Paul Newman II Center is more than just a place to live—it’s an inspiring center where students can live, study, socialize, and stay rooted in their faith. Adjacent to UNO’s Pacific Campus, Boyd Jones brought to life the Archdiocese of Omaha’s 88,000 SF, four-story facility with 49 fully-furnished apartments to provide housing for 164 students.

Study areas, a library, prayer and meeting rooms, a chapel, and a rectory—all surrounding a central prayer garden and courtyard—solidify the center as a permanent home for campus ministry programs.

Thoughtful details, including the custom-designed Sacred Entrance and 30-foot bell tower, reflect and honor Catholic tradition and create a meaningful sense of place.
