Boyd Jones partnered with UmónHon Nation Public Schools to construct a 39,000 SF addition to the existing school, situated on the Omaha Reservation in Macy, Nebraska. A highlight of this project was the UmónHon Nation Against the Current Career Academy, which provides students with dynamic, hands-on instruction to develop skills in six specialty career paths.
Learning spaces in automotive, construction, culinary, early childhood, entrepreneurship, and nursing empower students to jumpstart their careers after high school. A café, auditorium, student-operated retail store, and specialized career training spaces solidify the school as a cornerstone of the community.
This project was transformative not only for the school, but for the entire community, empowering students to learn skills to jumpstart their careers post-graduation.
