Springfield Platteview Community Schools selected Boyd Jones for several projects, including a new elementary school, to accommodate significant enrollment growth and support families throughout the community. This project was possible thanks to a successful bond, which Boyd Jones helped support.
Springfield Elementary is a completely new, 77,800 SF facility that accommodates three sections of each grade level. The building facilitates 21st century learning methodology with a variety of classroom models and bright, open spaces. The expanded footprint also includes new dedicated PreK space.
Exterior amenities, including an outdoor classroom, ball field, and multiple recreation areas, along with separate drop-off, parking lanes, and school bus parking to facilitate safe school building access, complete the school.
