Located in South Omaha, Boyd Jones constructed the Stephen Center, a 60,000 SF center that houses emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing. This four-story space serves as a community cornerstone, offering housing and services for individuals and families.

The lower level serves as the emergency shelter including check-in, intake, offices, laundry, lockers, a large dining room, and a kitchen. Bunk rooms are situated on either end, with bathrooms and showers, a day room, and laundry. Additionally, there are four family shelters with private baths and an adjacent children’s area.

The ground level houses the wellness center, two large and four small meeting rooms, and administrative offices, with direct access to the exterior courtyard. The second and third floors encompass the permanent supportive housing, including 62 units with various room layouts surrounding a shared lounge and bath and shower rooms.
