Boyd Jones partnered with Upstream Brewing Company to transform a historic building into a welcoming brewpub in the heart of The Old Market District in Omaha, Nebraska.
Our team worked to carefully preserve the integrity of the building, which operated as a firehouse from 1903 until World War II and transformed into the Firehouse Dinner Theater in 1972. Boyd Jones renovated the exterior in accordance with National Park Service Historic Preservation Standards and Guidelines while modernizing the building’s systems.
The converted 20,000 SF building includes three stories of dining space and meeting rooms, an outdoor patio, a rooftop beer garden, two kitchens, two full-service bars, and a full-service brewery.
