Located in Geneseo, Illinois, the new 11,900 SF Geneseo Career & Technical Education Center gives high school and community college students a direct path into skilled trades.
The facility blends classroom instruction with hands-on apprenticeships in fully equipped wood, welding, and auto repair shops, supported by a large technology-enabled classroom that strengthens teaching and learning in every discipline.
Boyd Jones ensured close attention to detail through all the technical complexities, upholding safety and creating a fully operational space that empowers learning across a range of trades.
With this new center, Geneseo Community Unit School District #228 was able to expand its offerings to include Career Pathway Endorsements through the Illinois State Board of Education while continuing its established certification programs. The facility supports the region’s long-term economic goals, preparing students for today’s workforce needs and empowering them to jumpstart their careers.
