Boyd Jones transformed the existing Air Methods call center in Omaha, Nebraska, into a modern, functional workspace that supports essential, continuous operational needs while enhancing workflow and collaboration.

Comprehensive interior renovations accommodated the new design layout and included the removal of existing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). The renovated space features interior offices, conference rooms, collaborative workspaces, and updated finishes, such as carpeting, paint, millwork, cabinetry, doors, and hardware. Boyd Jones also self-performed critical tasks, including demolition, concrete flatwork, and rough and finish carpentry, ensuring high-quality results and efficient execution.

Significant mechanical and electrical upgrades were integral to this project, supporting Air Methods’ critical air medical services. This included installing new interior mechanical systems to integrate owner-provided rooftop units (RTUs) and rerouting electrical systems to support reconfigured workstations. A new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system with generator backup was added to ensure operational continuity.

Owner-provided items were seamlessly integrated, aligning Air Methods’ vision for the space while ensuring full functionality for current and future operations. This revitalized facility aligns with Air Methods’ commitment to operational excellence and provides a workplace that supports its mission in air medical services.
