Confidential Client Utility-Scale Solar Portfolio

Boyd Jones is serving as EPC for a portfolio of four utility-scale solar projects across Pennsylvania, totaling more than 92 MW of renewable energy. The projects feature advanced First Solar bifacial modules, Nextracker single-axis tracker systems, and Sungrow central inverters, providing reliable, utility-grade power to the PJM regional grid.

These projects are being completed in partnership with Bluestem Energy Solutions. Bluestem Energy Solutions is a developer, owner, and operator of renewable energy resources headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The company identifies, develops, and implements local energy solutions for utilities across the nation, helping communities transition to cleaner, more resilient power generation. Our work together on this project emphasizes the power of innovation and continued collaboration to power communities.

Spanning multiple counties, these sites demonstrate Boyd Jones’ ability to manage complex, multi-site solar programs through its self-perform capabilities in civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes. Each project strengthens local economies through job creation, infrastructure investment, and sustainable long-term energy generation.
