Creston Ridge Wind

Located west of Creston, Nebraska, Creston Ridge Wind delivers nearly 14 MW of renewable energy through eight turbines. Acting as EPC, Boyd Jones partnered with Bluestem Energy Solutions to complete the project in two phases.

Bluestem Energy Solutions is a developer, owner, and operator of renewable energy resources headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The company identifies, develops, and implements local energy solutions for utilities across the Midwest, helping communities transition to cleaner, more resilient power generation. Our work together on this project emphasizes the power of innovation and continued collaboration to power communities.

The first phase, Creston Ridge I, came online in 2015 with four turbines producing 6.8 MW. Boyd Jones later delivered three additional 2.3 MW turbines for Creston Ridge II, which began generating power in 2017.

Loup Power District of Columbus purchases all the electricity generated at the site, providing long-term value to the community, contributing significant annual tax revenue and lease payments to local landowners.
