As part of our partnership to update and expand district facilities for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (HMS) Community School District, Boyd Jones completed comprehensive renovations and additions at the Middle School.
Major renovations reshaped the existing building into a modern, flexible, and student-centered environment.
Learning spaces were reimagined to support exploration and learning, with collaborative studios and vibrant commons areas that invite students to connect, create, and engage in new ways. Additions spanning 34,000 SF created a new gymnasium, locker room, kitchen, and music room, expanding the school’s capacity, supporting school programs, and strengthening the overall student experience.
Together, these updates and expansions ensured the middle school has the necessary spaces to meet students’ and teachers’ needs and support them into the future.
